Product Description:
801-D is a kind of organic Bentonite that can be easily dispersed and self-acitivated. It can be easily dispersed in solvent or resin and the dispersion can reach below 20μm under medium shearing and in a short time. It can also be dispersed easily in solvent. Its surface viscosity is low, however, the gelatin efficiency is extremely high in resin systems. The viscosity reinforcement, anti-flowing & dropping and anti-depositing performances are good. It exerts high transparency in solvent and resin systems. This product is equivalent to Bentone SD-1.

Usage:
801-D shall be added directly in dry powder status, generally after the resin is diluted, so that the pigment is sufficiently activated and dispersed during pre-dispersion. This product can also be used for post-adjustment. The adding sequence is:
- 1.Resin/solvent
- 2.801-D (medium speed agitation)
- 3.Auxiliary agent (moisturizer, dispersant and defoaming agent)
- 4.Pigment filler (grinded the required particle size
- 5.Post-adjustment
The total amount of 801-D in the recipe is 0.2-2.0%, for which the user shall verified through test.
Applications:
801-D is suitable for low-medium-high polarity solvent systems, for example, aromatic hydrocarbon series and oxygen-gorne solvent; it is used in chlorinated rubber, cyclic oxygen, polyester, glycolic acid, crylic acid, nitryl and unsaturated resin systems etc. The product is applied for industrial coating, anti-corrosion lacquer, auto lacquer, wood-ware lacquer, cosmetics, printing ink and sealing gel etc. |
